Why People Confuse Opinion as Hating

1 comment:

  1. When Jesus walked on earth, many became haters among Him; not because they didn't like Jesus, but didn't believe Him. Jesus will gather 10,000 and speak Truth, and walk away leaving with 3,000 followers. Were the 7,000 behind "Haters" or nonbelievers? In comparison, we can live life as true as true can get and still no one will believe who we truly are. Jesus died for his "haters" (nonbelievers) and for some it isn't convincing enough. I believe some of us use the "I Love My Haters" slogan as mockery; not really loving them but "self encouraging" to get over their criticism. I expect negative comments as a Christian, because it gives opportunity to exercise humility. Just because one will curse God today doesn't mean he/she will see hell tomorrow. Just as we were cursing God before we were saved, they shall be saved. In comparison, they can and will hate you now, but love you later. And just because some may not believe in you, as some don't believe in God, doesn't mean they hate you; it just mean there is more work to do. God did not stop at the Crucifixion. Love your neighbors as yourself. Amen.
